Seaward Supernova Download Utility

You've got a Seaward Supernova (or plus/elite) with all your PAT records on but no way of getting at that data? Well, now you can. SNDOWNLOAD.EXE is a simple utility that will allow you to download from your Supernova in the following Seaward formats :-

PATS+
Certificate
Summary
Seawards SSS format

It also adds the following :-
CSV for use in Excel
Basic Report
Wide Report

What's needed:-
A Seaward Supernova(!)
SNDOWNLOAD.EXE software
Seaward download lead or null modem RS-232 lead
If your PC hasn't got a RS-232 port then you will also need a USB to RS-232 converter

How to use
The files are in a .ZIP archive so extract the files into a new folder on your hard drive
If you are going to use either the Basic Report or Wide Report then you will need to edit the files header.txt and header-wide.txt. Add your company details etc that you want printed at the top of the reports. The Wide Report must be printer in landscape format
If using the Basic Report option edit the SNDOWNLOAD.CFG file to give the output that you prefer
Plug the RS-232 lead (or USB adaptor with RS-232 lead attached) into your PC and the other end into yous Supernova. You will need to know what comm port your PC has asigned to it
Run SNDOWNLOAD.EXE and follow the on screen prompts
The reports or files, depending on what you have chosen, will be saved onto your hard drive.
